Hello everybody,
- I completed my elementary and high school studies in Adana, the city where I was born.
- I started my medical training and professional career at the Trakya University Faculty of Medicine. In 2007 I did a general surgery internship at Hungary / Budapest Semmelweis University for 1 month.
- Upon graduation, I worked as an emergency physician in Aksaray and as a research assistant at Adana Numune Hospital for a short time.
- Soon after, I started my internship at Cumhuriyet University, Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery.
- In 2016, I worked in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Clinic of St George’s Hospital in London / England for 4 months on an Erasmus Academic Plus scholarship.
- In the same year, I was in the clinic for plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery of the head and neck and hand in Bremen / Germany Klinikum Bremen-Mitte for 1 month.
- In 2017, with the scholarship of the Erasmus Academic Plus program, I worked again for 15 days at the Clinic of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Head and Neck and Hand in Bremen / Germany Klinikum Bremen-Mitte.
- I have absorbed the principle of starting as a Turk, continuing as a German, ending as a British by living in these institutions.
- In 2018, in Addis Ababa / Ethiopia, I volunteered to represent Cumhuriyet University in Addis Ababa University Hospital, Timur Anbessa Hospital (Kara Aslan), Head and Neck Reconstruction and Plastic Surgery Clinic .
- In 2018, after 6 years of residency training, I left Cumhuriyet University and started working at Sivas Numune Hospital.
- In 2019, I was successful in the examination of the European Council of Reconstructive and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Part 1 (MCQ) in Brussels / Belgium.
- Specifically, I was interested in the reconstructive (repair surgery) side of plastic surgery such as burns, trauma injuries, tumor surgery as well as facial aesthetics, full body plastic surgery. Scientific publications have occupied an exceptional place in all times of my life.
- These publications consisted of experimental and clinical fields. The scientific profession is the fundamental principle of my life. I believe that a physician should follow the scientific literature regardless of his employment in academic staff.
My clinical practice also falls within the framework of this principle.
