Case snapshot
This case follows a 51-year-old patient through deep plane lower-face and neck rejuvenation with periocular and perioral refinement. The two-month follow-up is an early postoperative result: swelling resolution, scar maturation and soft-tissue settling are ongoing.
Patient concerns
The concerns were lower-face laxity and reduced jawline definition, neck laxity, upper- and lower-eyelid aging, downturned mouth corners and an overall tired appearance despite preserved facial identity.
Clinical assessment
Deep plane lower-face and neck lifting was selected to restore structural support and improve the jawline-neck transition. Upper and lower blepharoplasty addressed the periocular region, while a corner-of-mouth lift addressed perioral aging. The regions were planned together to support coordinated rejuvenation and preserve facial identity.
Surgical approach
- Deep Plane Lower Face & Neck Lift
- Upper & Lower Blepharoplasty
- Jawline Definition
- Corner of Mouth Lift
Surgeon's note
Dr. Umut Zereyak's note identifies loss of lower-face and neck definition together with periocular and perioral aging as the main planning issue. The deep plane component repositioned deeper tissues without relying on skin tension, while blepharoplasty and corner-of-mouth lifting supported facial balance.
Two-month early follow-up
The assessment considered lower-face contour, jawline definition, neck profile and the facial-neck transition, eyelid appearance and perioral balance. This is an early result, not a final endpoint. Further swelling resolution, scar maturation and soft-tissue settling are expected; scar quality and tissue settling are not presented as final.
