Case snapshot

This case follows a 65-year-old patient from the United States through total facial rejuvenation, with a six-month follow-up. The objective was to restore facial harmony while preserving identity, expression and natural proportions.

Patient concerns

She did not want a different face. She wanted her own face, rejuvenated. Her concerns included lower-face laxity, reduced jawline definition, neck laxity, midface descent, periocular aging and perioral changes.

Clinical assessment

Aging involved multiple facial levels rather than a single isolated region. The forehead, midface, lower face, neck and perioral region were assessed together, with attention to their relationship and the patient’s natural expression.

Six-month follow-up

At six months, the assessment showed improved jawline definition, a more defined neck contour, improved midface support and a more refreshed periocular appearance. Balance between the upper, middle and lower face and more harmonious lip proportions were assessed alongside preservation of the patient’s natural facial identity and expression.

The result continues to mature at this stage, especially soft-tissue settling and scar maturation.
