Liposuction – Injection of Fat
Adipose tissue, the value of which has not been understood much in recent years but has become increasingly popular today, occupies an important place in plastic surgery, especially in cosmetic surgery. Adipose tissue, previously used in reconstruction and scarring, is a blessing for adding volume and shape in cosmetic surgery. It is literally a physical and natural filler that we can “buy from the rich and give to the poor”.
Also, since adipose tissue is one of the richest sources of stem cells in the body, it has become a process that removes the radiance, irregularities and wrinkles of the skin with oil injection.
Before the surgery
Chronic diseases and smoking are challenged. Especially the areas where the regional fat will be removed are marked, the areas where the fatty tissue will be supplied are marked.

Depending on the procedure to be operated, it can be performed under local or sedative (semi-sleep) or general anesthesia, and its duration varies depending on the operation. Depending on the operation, the duration varies, but is generally applied for periods not exceeding 1 hour.
Fats taken with special cannulas are applied to the target area with small injectors after some procedures. There is no incision or scar in the surgery. So there is no trace left
Postoperative
In general, patients can be discharged the same day after surgery. There may be swelling and bruising that requires a few days of rest in the areas where the oil is applied. Rest and rest should be done and massages and similar applications should be avoided in areas where fatty tissue is given. Patients can return to their social life within approximately 1 week. Appropriate antibiotics and pain relievers should be used. Appropriate corsets should be worn for 2-3 weeks when fat injection is applied over a large area.
Things to know
If the fat injection is done correctly, it is a lifelong method, but some of the fat administered soon melts. (average 50-70%) Smoking is also one of the reasons that reduce the retention of this fat. In addition to the facial area (lips, cheekbones, nasolabial areas, forehead, tip of the chin….), We can use adipose tissue for penis enlargement, butt enlargement, breast augmentation.
Especially in breast augmentation with adipose tissue, we may not be able to provide the desired volume in a single session due to the natural absorption of fat. To get the volume we want, we can apply it in a second session until we reach the desired volume. There should be 2-3 months between these two sessions.
