Hair Transplant

Baldness, which occurs in men with an early age or family, creates a lack of self-confidence, psychological effects and a lack of self-confidence. The Fue (Follicular Unit Extraction) technique has become the only preferred method in hair transplantation today due to its painless and scar-free nature. Compared to the methods used in the past, the FUE technique is more successful in terms of results and at the same time much less risky. On the other hand, unshaven hair transplant has become more and more widely used.

Generally ;

  • People with baldness problems
  • People with thinning hair are the best candidates for this surgery.

Hair transplant

After the hair has been cut short (or unshaven hair transplant-DHI), local anesthesia is applied to the area where the hair will be taken and the area to be transplanted. After the local anesthesia takes effect quickly, the follicular units are removed with special electric tools.

There are 2-3 follicles in each unit taken. These follicles, which are collected at regular intervals, are placed in special solutions with the aid of micro tools without suffering trauma. Subsequently, the canals are opened with the aid of devices in the area to be transplanted. (The heads used should be disposable.) The taken follicles are inserted into these channels according to the anatomy of the hair. Although it varies from person to person, around 3000-6000 grafts can be obtained. Each graft has 1-3 strands of hair.

After application, the pain is very low. It is not possible to leave a scar in the area where the hair was taken. It is recommended to use tight bandages in this area as there may be swelling in the forehead area.

Measures to consider

Hair transplantation is an autologous (self-extracted) tissue transfer. It should definitely be done by people who are licensed in these jobs.

However, in recent years, many professional groups other than doctors have been dealing with commercial issues. As a result, many open wounds and bad transplants apply to plastic surgery specialists. Complications are undesirable consequences in medical practice. However, procedures performed by non-doctors are an event other than a complication.

For this reason, the operation must be performed under the supervision of a doctor, with sterile instruments and in operating rooms where the rules of asepsis and antisepsis apply. The person who will have this procedure should be in contact with a doctor and get detailed information about the procedure from the doctor.
